Every year the Institute conducts a special, advanced professional development courses for professionals working in the same professional group. The elite CMC Course is a 3-day course conducted in two key learning hubs (USA and UK) where a select group gather to develop advanced knowledge and skills.

Last year we received an unprecedented demand for entry into these elite programs. Given the large amount of requests for entry already received for the 2008 programmes, we have decided to open the courses for enrolment.

The widespread call for such a program reflects the growing maturity of the professional coaching discipline. For over ten years BCI has been at the forefront of niche, elite coach training. The CMC SIG Series is another element that differentiates the Institute from other providers and gives our graduates a market edge.

Spaces are strictly limited on the CMC SIG Series. Places are being offered by the Institute to graduates who have the ability to successfully/commercially apply the advanced knowledge and skills taught in the course.

As part of our commitment to support the ongoing professional development of our graduates, the CMC SIG Series also enhances the invitee's career by providing an environment for networking, benchmarking and dialogue with other successful peers working with the same issues and opportunities.


BCI's elite (SIG) Master Class for select industry professionals:  

Advanced knowledge, skills development and the understanding of current professional practice issues are all key aspects of training to
be an elite coaching practitioner.

Description:
The
CMC SIG Series
is a specialist hands-on workshop designed to allow the graduate obtain the latest coaching knowledge
and achieve mastery of specific elite practitioner skills and techniques. The workshops are built around role-plays and exercises focusing
on the use of set relevant industry-sector coaching sessional skill sets and scenarios. The workshop is also a means for graduates to confirm their industry sector/professional group trends and issues and benchmark their own continuing development with a group of like-minded, experienced industry professionals..

-Selection Process and Payment: Due to the increasing large number of applicants competing for a very small number of course places (we typically receive several applications per available place) -applicants can complete the below Form and either: 1) request a telephone interview with the relevant, regional Course Facilitator. At an appointed time you will be called to: a) further explain how the professional development certification course works, b) answer any questions you have and, c) subject to a mutually satisfactory outcome of the interview -accepts your application to be submitted to a Selection Panel. The Panel comprises the Institute's Board and industry professionals.

The Selection Panel meets each Monday morning to consider Applications received during the previous week. All selection results are final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Institute's regional office emails each applicant either a formal 'Acceptance Letter' or an offer to be wait-listed or considered for another future course date. A successful applicant is chosen not only on their: suitability for the course, relevant professional background/organizational experience etc, but also upon their learning goals, professional profile and purpose for wishing to attend the course is also matched against that of the other existing, invited course members. Note: In fairness to all pending qualified applicants, to secure a strictly limited place in a small group, a successful applicant is required to remit full payment (via bank wire) for the course within 5 working days of receiving their Acceptance Letter/Email.

 In fairness to all applicants, if a selected person is unable to make payment within 7 days that place is then offered to the next qualified nominee.

:  (via our Online Pre-Course Preparation Learning Portal) -is provided to all enrolled participants. In addition, telephone 1-to-1, private mentoring with the course facilitator is also available. The pre-course mentoring (cost $295 / GB£165 / Euro240 per session) allows the student to establish a working relationship (in advance of the course) with their course facilitator via; reviewing their preparation, receiving any guidance re: their need for any further reading or research to best prepare for the course and, discussing their learning goals etc..  -Typically 1 pre-course session is sufficient
